Blogging is gaining popularity in the internet world. It is the universal way of delivering news, selling and promoting products, and services. It is also one way of expressing true humanity. Blogging is the medium of expression for elite and masses. This serves as the most available tool for aspiring and professional writers on the block.

Blog sites – where we read blogs of various everyday authors is either paid or free. There are hundreds of free blog site hosting on the internet. Few of the giants are blogger and word press. These platforms offer what we call as "sub domain" hosting. It's somehow kind of technical, right? Don't worry we will discuss more of that and you will know more about what is web hosting for blogs.

What is web hosting for blogs?

Web hosting for blogs otherwise known as blog hosting is the process of borrowing or owning space in a particular web hosting company for personal, financial, and other interest. Most websites today are made out of word press and blogger – because it's easier to manage them using such platforms.

Newcomers and professionals on the internet do buy domain rights from a blog platform. But for large and multinational companies, they prefer to have the traditional PHP configurations. The advantage of owning a domain for your blog gives you the right to express your own brand. It is also easy to optimize because web host companies offer SEO friendly configurations as marketing scheme.

However, renting a blog domain means paying annual fees. If you aren't techie enough, you might find the control panel and PHP configurations too complex. That means it might take time to learn for beginners before they can fully operate their domain.

If you have a deep background about web page development or can hire someone to do it for you, then why not get your own domain. However, if you have problems with technology, it would be advisable to know what is web hosting first before buying your own domain. This way, we can save resource, time, money, and effort.
